I just wanted to say thank you

The identities have been changed.

“I wanted to email you at Flagship to say thank you for all your help and support at a time in my life I needed it the most. I was homeless, I  got help with gas and electric, setting up Yorkshire water, taught me about budgeting and helped me again when I got my own place.

My housing support worker Joseph was amazing through it all,  letting me know he was just a phone call away.  I worked things out with my family, have a new partner and a new job working for Leeds City Council.

I don’t think I’d be where I am now without your help at a vulnerable time in my life. I just wanted to say thank you Joseph.”

Laura aged 19 (Received support from Flagship  Leeds Housing Concern for ten months 2015)
